What is Media Studies? The Integrated Media Studies classes are mandatory, trimester, non-elective courses, grades 9-11 that are integrated into the cultural history curriculum. In all the Media Studies courses, students learn to deconstruct and construct media via collaborative and individual projects and activities, production, discussion, and written reflection. This is a double-period class.
For my self portrait I took a picture of my self and my dog and put it into a picture of the warriors. I took the picture of my dog and I because it represents that we have been through a lot together and still are. I connected it to the warriors because in that night they went through a lot as well so I thought it would fit to put the two photos together. It is arranged as it appears because the girl in the movie in my opinion had no point and that’s y I put my photo there to take her out of the equation. To make this photo I took two photos and blended them together than made them both black and white. After that we printed out the photos inverted on to a see through material. Then we put that onto some light sensitive printer paper and put the light on it for six seconds. Then put it through the three liquids to develop the photo.
