The idea of my self-portrait is to show piano teach
me never give up something. In my self-portrait, I was playing the piano.
Playing the piano represents myself and piano accompany with me to grow up
eight years. When I first see the piano, I told my mom I very like it and I
wanted to learn it. Then I started to learn the piano, when I was six years
old. In the eight years, I attempted many times to give up learn the piano, but
I still continued to learn until I was in middle school. I learned do not give
up anything from the eight years of study. There is nothing I could not do it,
as long as I keep the spirit of perseverance. Now, whenever I want to give up
something, I will remember the experience of learning the piano, and then pick
up confidence and continue work.
The
first picture is that I am playing the piano, and second picture is my finger
is jumping in the piano. I used my iPhone to take them in the Senior Building
Lecture Hall, and used Photoshop to combine and edit them. Then Ms. Martinelli
helped me to print my photo, and then I did my final photo in dark room with classmates.
